London's cordwainer Justin Deakin knows London. And so do the soles of his sought after fine leather shoes - which hit all the city's coolest pavements. From his new shop in East London, Deakin brings you our first 'city with' - offering the inside track on our world's cities from the people who know them best.

Favourite building in the city: Big Ben as it’s always good to know the time! 

Street with the best shops: Church Street is great for affordable antiques and a good curry.

How you get around the city: Drive, walk or cycle mainly. 

Bookshop where you can pick up the best reads: Daunt books on Haverstock Hill 

Last book bought: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson (he made and makes my life so much easier) 

Your favourite Londoner: My Wife Sophie Deakin 

Best vintage shop: Binders Furniture, Holloway Road & Church St 

Where to go to get a cold beer: Golden Heart, Hanbury Street (Sandra is a one of a kind. Amazing) 

Or a good cocktail: Claridges Hotel Bar in Mayfair. Pure class.

Any good dancefloors you’d recommend: Hoxton Pony Shoreditch

Recommendation for a romantic dinner for two: J Skeekeys, a fish and seafood restaurant in Covent Garden
